Registration for Creativation University is open! Over the next several weeks, we’ll introduce you to some of our workshop teachers and seminar speakers so you can learn what to expect from taking their live classes in Phoenix this January.
This week, meet Wyatt White!
Read our interview with Wyatt to get to know him and more about his Creativation workshop, W111: Bangle and Cuff Bracelets.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I have been in the jewelry industry since 1982 when I got my first job, and have been here ever since. I am currently the Product Manager and Education Director at Beadalon/Artistic Wire, where my energy is focused mostly on product development and education. I continue to make jewelry mostly for company use, and knot pearls for friends and clients.
In a few words, tell us about the education session you’re teaching at Creativation.
This workshop will teach you the variations of using our 2015 CHA Hot Product Winner in Jewelry, the 3D Bracelet jig. You’ll make bangle bracelets and cuff bracelets decorated with beads, charms and cording, which can be used as samples to show your customers. You’ll also learn our cold connections technique, attaching two wire ends securely without soldering or wrapping the ends together.
Who and why should someone attend your session?
Anyone interested in learning some great new tricks on how to quickly and successfully enter the jewelry making market!
What are you looking forward to the most at Creativation in Phoenix?
How attendees respond to our new products for 2017. Beadalon was fortunate to win the Hot Product Award in the Jewelry category for new products in both 2015 and 2016. I also can’t wait to see what the CHA team has in store in the creative city they created and the rebirth of the trade show.
What do you love most about your job?
Bringing completely new products to market that help people make better, faster and more professional looking jewelry.
What do you love most about the creative industry?
The amazing people I get to meet and befriend. There’s just nothing better than the people in this industry!
