CHA ANNOUNCES MARKETING LEADERSHIP CHANGES
The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) announces the departure of Sandra Ghezzi, vice president of Marketing, Member Services and Education for CHA.
“For the past six years, Sandy played an integral role spearheading many important industry initiatives, including CHA’s Craft SuperShow; CHA Portfolio Magazine; enhancements to industry education and CHA’s Conference program; as well as member and customer service initiatives. We wish her the very best in the future,” says Tony Lee, acting president and CEO of CHA.
Over the past several months, CHA staff has worked closely with CHA’s Board of Directors to encourage member feedback and ensure CHA staff is listening and appropriately responding to membership comments. CHA has developed a new team approach to managing the Association and addressing concerns within the industry. This new ‘Team CHA’ approach, unveiled at the 2011 CHA Summer Conference & Trade Show, represents a fundamental shift in how CHA staff will communicate to, interact with and serve CHA members and the industry moving forward. One part of the ‘Team CHA’ approach is a newly created position of director of communications who will lead all communication and marketing efforts for CHA. Victor Domine, CHA’s public relations manager, will serve as acting director of this newly formed team.
“Victor has played a significant role in developing major communications initiatives and strategic direction for the Association while creating and managing an award-winning public relations department. He has demonstrated great leadership in our new Team CHA structure, and I have every confidence in his ability to meet the challenges associated with this new position,” says Lee.
