Important CHA 2011 Winter Show Update
We have had great early success with the Bonus Booth Program, as exhibitors for the 2011 Winter Show in Los Angeles are tending to sign up for increased square footage. At the same time, we’ve received feedback from a few of our members that have questioned the decision to remove Winter Show priority points if an exhibitor chooses not to exhibit in the show. Taking these two points together, we’ve decided to rescind the decision to remove priority points.
Our charge is to make the Winter Show the biggest and best craft show in the world. The two programs were designed to foster that. I am pleased to say that we’re off to a fabulous start. So far, over half of the 599 companies who exhibited last year have already confirmed their space for 2011 – and of those, 3/4th’s (74%) have increased their booth space. We couldn’t ask for a better early start. In fact the South Hall is just about sold out! Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of this great opportunity.
At the same time, if you can’t exhibit in 2011, please know that your Winter Show priority points are safe. This Fall CHA will be forming a task force of Exhibitors to review the priority points system. If you would like participate in this task force, please let me know.
Our Members want you to exhibit, and your presence will help make the Winter Trade Show the very best, but if you really can’t, then we’ll plan on seeing you at the next show.
