NEW HORIZONS AWARD sponsored by Plaid Enterprises

Attention CHA Designer Members!

All current members of the Craft & Hobby Association’s Designer Section are invited to apply for the 2011 New Horizons Award sponsored by Plaid Enterprises, Inc.

Plaid created the program in 2000 to recognize outstanding designers and to enhance their careers and professional development.  Beginning and advanced artists are encouraged to apply for a $1,500 award that will be presented to two artists based on their achievements to date and professional goals.  The first award category includes applicants with 1-5 years as a professional artist/crafter.  The second award category includes applicants with over 6 years as a professional artist/crafter.  Applications are being accepted now through December 5, 2010 at www.PlaidOnline.com/articleDetail.asp?articleID=488.

The awards will be presented at the CHA Designer Section Meeting to be held during the CHA 2011 Winter Conference and Trade Show in Los Angeles.
